Zostałem dzisiaj pełną gębą PM’em, ale takim zadaniowym, a nie z awansu. PM to skrót od program manager (w tym wypadku będzie to raczej Project manager z dużym P, o czym za chwilę).
Pamiętacie mój post pt. Zabawy mydłem, czyli one person project? Sprawa nabiera nowego tempa. Po sporym sukcesie mojego rozwiązania, które zostało też zaimplementowane także w Redmond, przyszedł czas na fazę drugą - bardziej ambitną i wymagającą nieco większej pracy.
Migruję w stronę Project Server 2007. Dotychczasowe rozwiązanie działało w zakresie opisanym w starym projekcie, nowe już wychodzi daleko poza i wymagałoby niezwykle dużej ilości pracy by znaleźć się dopiero na standardowym poziomie oferowanym przez Project Server 2007. Czyli część feasibility mam już prawie za sobą 
Dedykowany serwer, dedykowany czas, odświeżenie pamięci o zarządzaniu projektami po części z SDLC, po części z PM Lite i totalny brak czasu. Witamy w nowym projekcie.
A nie mowielem, ze MS Project. Chyba zostane wrozka :). Tak czy inaczej coraz dalej od prawdziwego IT panie, coraz dalej. Ale widac, ze tobie sie to podoba wiec gratuuuuulacje.
Poza SDLC i PM Lite nie wiem o czym do mnie “rozmawiasz”, ale mimo wszystko gratuluje bo najwyrazniej idziesz tam gdzie chcesz a nie tam, gdzie Cie rzuca.
Na ostatnio “oddanej do użytku” stronie Exchange Your Career Microsoft jest ładna definicja Program Managera: “You are the center of the hurricane, the eye of the product development storm.
